About Your Host
Ms. Alison Gonzalez, PMP is the CEO at Essential Assets Group and is driven to enable organizations to advance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of their people to accelerate process improvements and innovative technology solutions. With extensive experience in strategic planning and client engagement for government contractors, the Department of Defense, and various Federal Agencies, she helps each client uncover their Essential Assets. Alison holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Market Development, a bachelor's degree in marketing, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Product Manager (CPM).
Douglas Brown, Ph.D., PMP
Dr. Douglas Brown helps organizations kick the habit of under-performing processes and failing projects. A former Army officer, he holds a doctorate in policy analysis, is a lecturer at the University of Southern California, and is the International #1 Best-Seller author of multiple books on aspects of implementing project, portfolio, and program management. In more than 20 years managing and consulting with private-sector and government organizations, he has saved tens of millions of dollars by bringing contracts and processes under control and hundreds of millions of dollars in program assessment and redesign. Residents of Williamsburg, Virginia; he and his wife enjoy live arts, travel, and dogs.
Carl Pritchard, PMP, PMI-RMP
Carl Pritchard is principal and founder of Pritchard Management Associates. He is a recognized lecturer, author, researcher, and instructor. As a trainer, he is the “fun guy” of project management, engaging audiences on topics from any of his seven textbooks. Carl served as lead chapter author for the Guide to the PMBOK, Risk Chapter (4th Edition). His work as an instructor takes him worldwide, training for learning organizations, private clients, and the Project Management Institute®. He is a U.S. Correspondent for the U.K. project management magazine, Project Manager Today, and was PMI Global’s “Best of the Best” in project management for 2019, earning the Eric Jenett Award.
Susan Parente, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, CRISC, RESILIA
Susan Parente is a Principal Consultant at S3 Technologies, LLC, a Senior Instructor-Consultant at Essential Assets Group, and a University Professor at multiple Universities. Mrs. Parente is an author, mentor and professor focused on risk management, and traditional and Agile project management. Her experience is augmented by her master’s in engineering management with a focus in Marketing of Technology from George Washington University, DC, along with several professional certifications. Ms. Parente has more than 20 years’ experience leading software and business development projects in the private and public sectors, including a decade of experience implementing IT projects for the DoD. She is also the co-author on a forthcoming publication, “Hybrid Project Management: Using Agile With Traditional PM Methodologies to Succeed on Modern Projects”.
