Essential Assets Group Selected as Prime Contractor for U.S. Navy SeaPort Next Generation Contract Vehicle

 

Springfield, VA -- 14 July 2021 -- Essential Assets Group, Inc. is excited to announce that the U.S. Department of the Navy has awarded our team a prime spot on the SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) contract vehicle for engineering services and program management services. The Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) was awarded to 600 businesses across 29 of the 50 United States and District of Columbia. The government estimates approximately $5B of services will be procured annually for a 2.5-year base period of performance with an additional five-year ordering period option.

The SeaPort NxG contract vehicle enables Essential Assets Group to compete on future Task Orders for IT support services requirements across 23 functional areas in support of the Navy’s mission to maintain, train and equip combat-ready naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression, and maintaining freedom of the seas. Departments eligible to procure from SeaPort NxG are Naval Sea Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Military Sealift Command (MSC), and the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
